The Ashwood Chronicles Half-Lich series comes to an end. I hate to see it but I love seeing vengeance at its best. But it really wasn't vengeance as much as "you reap what you sow".I love that all of the characters become something more than they were in the first & second books, and in this book they find the thing they are looking for... answers, an understanding of the Void.
And Alice. Smart, determined and totally revamped in the end, more than she thought she could ever be. And HAPPY. She learns more from Nyx than Nyx planned and Chaos doesn't reign freely in Ashwood. A great wrap to a great trilogy.
You'll love this book, you'll follow these authors & grow to love their works, and my favorite part is that they selflessly promote other authors all the time. A dynamic duo that I have really enjoyed reading & maybe I've helped put them on the bestseller list by gobbling up every word they write.
On to other stories of the ever-expanding universe of Ashwood!

KM is my favorite author lately.
Not overly impressed with this last book in the series. Books 1 and 2 were better.
At least there is a happy ending.
Action packed and fun read. Kept me reading past when I should have been asleep.
Solid book!! I really liked the development of both Isaac and Alice both in this book and over the series as a whole. The story flows well and the writing is solid. My only quibble with the book is that the ending felt a bit rushed. I can't wait to read more from this team!!
If you haven't read the first two books in the trilogy, go do that first! Then come back and read this edge of your seat third installment in the Half-Lich trilogy. The characters are so well developed and the imagery puts you right on the dark, gritty (and sometimes smelly) streets of Ashwood. Follow Alice as she takes on Night and Chaos!
Night and Chaos is the final book in Half-Lich series. Once again and with it the amazing husband & wife team of Lee Dignam & Katerina Martinez have delivered an exciting yet satisfying end to a series. With each book we have been introduced to new characters both good & bad, while also learning more about Ashwood itself. I look forward to more books being set in Ashwood.
Night and Chaos was on the go from just about the first page. This was a great trilogy, the books were close together so you did not forget anything that happend in the previous books.
I really enjoyed reading the way Alice and Isaac's story started and how over the three books you see how much it grows. Plus add in all the character's, it really made for an interesting storyline.
I cannot wait to see what will come from Dignam & Martinez next.
